Empowering Those Who Served: Zuber Realty's Unwavering Support for Veterans

Collecting Donations Across the Community

The food drive, coordinated by Agent Vanessa Deskie, was a true community effort, with collection points established at Zuber Realty's Boyertown and Royersford offices. The agency also partnered with the Berks-Mont Business Association to collect donations during the Philadelphia Avenue Street Fair, as well as Redner's Market in Boyertown on June 15. In addition to non-perishable items, the drive also welcomed cash, check, and gift card donations, further empowering the agency's mission to support veterans in need.

A Legacy of Service: Deskie's Personal Connection to the Cause

Deskie's dedication to the annual food drive stems from her own family's deep-rooted military service. Generations of her family have answered the call to serve, with her grandfather and father-in-law serving in World War II, her father serving in the Army between wars, her uncle's tour in Vietnam, and even her cousins' service in Iraq. This personal connection to the sacrifices made by veterans has fueled Deskie's unwavering commitment to this important cause.

Celebrating Another Successful Drive

The agency's efforts culminated in the recent delivery of the collected donations to the Veterans Making a Difference organization at their headquarters in Reading, Pennsylvania. The Zuber Realty team, including Rich Zuber, Connie Dolansky, Diane Evanco, Kathy Morcrette, Dennis Morcrette, and Lee Heffner, proudly loaded the Zuber bus and transported the generous contributions to their final destination.

A Heartfelt Expression of Gratitude

Deskie expressed her sincere appreciation for all those who contributed to the success of the food drive, whether through direct donations or by volunteering their time. "I want to thank everyone who contributed — those who helped man our food drive or those who contributed or both," Deskie said. "Everyone did a fantastic job. The drive was a success; any time you have others give so freely of their time and money, it is a success."The unwavering commitment of Richard A. Zuber Realty to supporting veterans through their annual food drive is a testament to the agency's deep-rooted values and its unwavering dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have served our country. This remarkable achievement serves as an inspiration to the community, showcasing the power of collective action and the transformative impact that can be achieved when individuals and organizations come together to support those in need.
